Südwind ist die geografische Bezeichnung für einen Wind, der aus südlichen Windrichtungen kommt – im speziellen meridionaler Wind, einen Wind, der ungefähr entlang eines Meridians weht.

In Europa und im Speziellen der Mittelmeerregion wird „Südwind“ auch mit trockenem, oft mit Saharastaub angereichertem Wind assoziiert.
